Tutorial Tuesday #6 - Distressing

Welcome!
Its Tutorial Tuesday

I am sharing some distressing tips with you

There are many ways to create a Distressed look

You can use

a nail file,

sander,

Scissors,

Crinkle paper

Or a

 Distressing Machine

I am showing you here what i have created with some scissors along the edge of paper

when distressing afterwards you can fold the edges in also if you would like its shown here also

When you crinkle paper bag or whatever papers you have on hand you can come up with a look as this

Momenta Monday!! & Memorial Day

Today I am sharing some Party Favors that I created for a birthday

This is a candy filled half pint jar

with guests name on the front

using glitter pens

 Using Momenta Alphabets with pennants I have created a flag on each straw and there first letter of there name.  Also creating the Thank you card to hang above basket for the guests to take when leaving the party.

The sign will hang above table with the goodies for my daughters friends

It turned out cute

Sweet 16 Birthday Card

Welcome to a beautiful Wednesday

To I am sharing with you a great birthday image

This is a special card for my daughter she is 16 this week

I have used some misc Paper

6x6

and then used a strip to add color

Placing the image and creating a star like shape for card

This is cute

I placed a banner at the top for her nickname

Boo Boo

and added some bling to the card

Momentas balloons puffy

and some bling on the ribbon in her hair

Tying the card together

with some misc red twine

Tuesday Tutorial #5 with Scrapbook Stamp Society

I am happy to share with you an idea i seen
Somewhere reading through some blogs
I am not sure where but would like to let you know others are out doing this and I am not the first

This is a simple idea and works great

Today

Brag Book

with recycled products

you will need 3 tissue paper rolls

and some paper adhesive and then embellishments and what nots

Taking the tpr and bending the ends in to center at both ends of all 3

now wrapping with paper for decoration

and creating you base

 

 

Here is the 3 pages done with a photo on 1 already

Adding some borders, stamps, and some bling

you can create individuality for each page and pics you would like to add

Also adding a ring to the corner will allow for hanging or to just have instead of a binding

This is a great simple idea

called Beautiful Blocks

This is a great image and love the flowers

will go great with the Tim Holz Distress ink

I have Olive color
I have taken a small piece of a brown paper bag and wrinkled it and added the ink
spraying a little water on it and letting it dry

Placing it on to cardstock from Momenta
5x7 in size
placing the bag distressed onto cardstock and then image on top for
card front

This shows the distress

This is a start to a banner for a Graduation Party this Coming June
She is on one of the Graduation hats.
There colors are Green, Gold, Black White
The hat is created with cardboard and this one is wrapped with Momenta Paper Pad
Colored the image and then wala

This is my daughter placing the boutineer on him, a pic of them together in our front yard

Love the way these sit together and she is sure to remember for years to come

Love sunflowers and this tops it

Today I have used some Momenta Cardstock creating a oddly shaped card

Just cut it out

It has flowers as the base print

Adding this image seems right

So I have colored the image

I love the multi colored flowers so this is one

Then placing a flower button as addition to base

Thought this would be great for a Thinking of You

Card

I absolutely love being a Dt an sharing with you

Mostly seeing your new creations also

Adding a piece of cardstock and stamping Thinking of you with PSA Essentials

Gardening Weekend!! - Mothers Day!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL !!!!!!

Seeds, Grass, Flowers. and Veggies

How fun

I enjoyed my time off this week

I did some work

cutting grass as the riding mower as taken a back seat for now

Couldnt Resisit This one my wonderful 6 year old

Catahoula Mix

i also have placed the awesome beds My Hubby Created into the new garden area

and as of now

Corn, Cherry tomatoe, Bell Peppers, Artichoke, and Tomatoes

are in Spot.

Love to see it all come together

I have a little old windmill that i have painted and created a cute deco for a while

Also placed some planters at different heights and painted also

Love gardening

waiting to work on fence for enclosure next also

Lots of Lots Of Lots

Dirt, compost and fill

Imagine wanting and creating dirt and of course

Hard Work
This is my red white and Blue Windmill

                  

and planters to match

 

and here is the garden area that has begun

beds above and below some individuals

             

The terra cotta pots create what is called Topsy Turvy and the one next to it is an ole Suzy Bell Box

with Zuchinni and Beans growing in it

The bathtub has beans and aspargus planted
